Matthew Travels to Switzerland

I have just spent 3 days on Madterclass course in Bern, Switzerland.

Based at the University of Bern,  Centre for Continuing Dental Education, this is one of the leading dental centres in the world. The course is run by Professor. Daniel Buser, world renowned in the field of dental implantology.

The course centred on dental implant treatment in the aesthetic zone and the sinus lift procedure. 

Why travel to Switzerland?

There are of course many local courses but none in my opinion are as good at this one.  The University of Bern follow strict treatment protocols and follow up cases for over 10 years.  This allows you to understand what works and what does not.  

Although a lot of the course content was not new to me, I certainly learnt a number of techniques which will benefit my patients.  In addition, the course has confirmed that what I currently do is safe and sound implantology.  

I continue to attend courses to expand my knowledge.  The  sole purpose is to improve the treatment and care provided to my patients.
